- Only full boxes of currently stocked shades will be accepted.
- Return of goods will not be accepted after 30 days from date of invoice.
- No returns on sale items, discontinued lines or goods out of stock.
- Invoice number is to be quoted on goods returned for credit.
- A 20% restocking fee will apply to goods returned. This includes where quantities are estimated by EWC.
No claims will be allowed in respect of variation in shade and if goods are found to be of a defective nature after tiles are fixed. No tile is guaranteed against crazing.
If a shade variation or defect can been seen when the job is completed then it can also be seen when the job commences.
To avoid damage by foreign materials during installation we recommend the use of suitable protective measures after fixing the product. Shade variation or defect complaints will not be considered if the project has proceeded to a point where a simple substitution of goods is impractical.

Quantity Estimates are provided as a guide to the purchaser and should not be considered as precise or conclusive.
All goods sold are subject to their normal and natural colour variations and samples given or in any showroom are to be considered indicative only. Returns or extra purchases will be subject to this standard Conditions of Sale.
No responsibility will be accepted by East West Ceramics for damage which occurs from the use of cleaning products in cleaning ceramic tiles. A shade difference to any display stock will not be considered as a defect and any returns will be treated as per Condition 3.

Hold Orders:
Although every effort will be made to hold stocks, Hold Orders accepted by EWC cannot be guaranteed supplied unless paid in full at the time of order. Unpaid Hold Orders are used to maintain stock to a level where most orders can be fulfilled when requested, but EWC cannot guarantee the goods will be available
Hold Orders must be taken or cancelled within 90 days from date placed. when ordered. To guarantee your hold will be available when ordered full payment will be required, and your order will be made up and stored away till required.
Prices for Hold Orders will be held for 90 days after which EWC reserve the right to change prices as required.
Company Policies and Standard Operation
- Please note this pricelist supersedes all previous pricelists and special pricelists and is exclusive of GST.
- Emails are sent on a regular basis to advise New Product – Shortages – Discontinued Stock
- The office is open Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Our warehouse hours are 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
- All orders, changes and cancellations must be faxed to 9249 6411 or emailed to sales@eastwestceramics.com.au
- Orders received before 4.00 pm will be delivered on the next scheduled delivery day in your area unless our truck is full.
- Orders received on a Saturday cannot be guaranteed a delivery on the following Monday.
- Please ensure all orders have correct delivery dates, addresses and contact details.
- If your order is to be picked up by an independent carrier please ensure you specify who, a contact number, a pick up time and the carrier knows who they are picking up for.
- All pickups before 4.30 pm.
- Country clients should make themselves aware of the carriers cut off times and ensure orders are faxed at least 3 hours prior.
- Orders received after 4.00 pm may be delivered on the second scheduled delivery day.
- Please ensure your faxes/emails are clear and precise. This will require you to nominate the manufacturers code, full description and correct size. Any mistakes will be charged out to the receiver
Returns:
- Credits must be returned to EWC within 30 days of invoice with a delivery docket number for consideration. Our staff will issue you with a Goods Returned Advice (GRA) to confirm we have received them.
- Returning goods to EWC is the responsibility of the client. Our driver is not obliged to pick up returns nor is EWC liable for freight costs from country clients for goods returned. received the goods. This is not a Credit Note.
- Goods returned for credit must be of current batches and in full unopened cartons.
- Once goods have been approved a Credit Note will be issued and allocated to your account. Please do not deduct monies from payment until it shows on your statement.
- If goods are not approved you will be required to remove them from our warehouse within 7 days. If you require us to dispose of them we will need your instruction in writing.
- All goods returned will incur a 20% handling fee.
NOTE: NO GRA = NO CREDIT NOTE WILL BE ISSUED, NO EXCEPTIONS
Deliveries:
- Metro deliveries are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday excluding public holidays.
- Mandurah (outer metro) and surrounds are on Wednesday unless a public holiday falls on that day and the delivery will be done on the next designated outer metro run.
- Specific delivery times cannot be accepted nor given but if our driver has a contact number he will endeavour to ring up to 2 hours prior to confirm a delivery time.
- Deliveries to your store/warehouse and to transport companies are free of charge.
- Deliveries to metro sites will incur a $100.00 + GST charge. Multiple deliveries to same site will be P.O.A.
- Deliveries to outer metro sites will incur a $120.00 + GST charge.
- Deliveries to other areas are P.O.A.
- Deliveries will only be made to the one nearest access point from the road.
- Delays and difficult site deliveries will be charged at an additional $80.00 + GST per hour.
- We will NOT attempt deliveries involving staircases, building site hoists or where access has been blocked.
- It is the receiver’s responsibility to check and sign for goods on delivery, after which the delivery is considered correct and delivered. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, the delivery will be correct and delivered.
